Coach Donald Robinson

Our Founder

Coach Donald has worked with over 500 athletes of various sports across Pennsylvania, Texas, Republic of Kenya and Belize. He's a former collegiate 400m hurdler with a BS in Exercise Science and a Masters of Education in Sport Science and Nutrition.  Donald is a USA Track & Field Certified Level 1 Coach, earned his NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification, and is an EXOS Certified Performance Specialist.

Donald fosters his experience across many backgrounds into an artful fitness experience that allows people with various goals to harmoniously train together.  Having experience successfully coaching:

  • runners: from youth track phenoms to adult 10k’ers and marathoners
  • athletic performance: D1 athletes to middle schoolers
  • adults in their golden years
  • athletes & adults who speak English as a second or third language

He has cultivated GHP to be a place where people from many worlds come together and train alongside each other to get more out of their bodies and life.

Outside of GHP, Donald coaches track & field at Woodland Hills HS and for River City Elite Track Club.  He enjoys ultimate frisbee, reading, and exploring new lands and cultures, abroad and domestically.

If it wasn’t for GHP, he says he would’ve gone into international diplomacy or something in that realm.  Check out or ask about our Global Coaches Education program!

Donald enjoys anything that has blueberries in/on it and has a weakness for cheesecake.

It works really well for me! I like to be really adaptable and I tend to come in semi-broken a lot so he's really good at adapting to that on the fly.
